Time-sensitive offers are nothing new in the airline industry. So when Swoop wanted to promote a limited-time sale offering 60% off flights to Mexico we decided to do something different and enlisted the help of Mother Nature. Introducing: the world’s first tidal countdown timer.

We streamed the event on Facebook, and invited people to take advantage of the deal. When the tide washed the coupon away the offer was over. The results? We saw an 80% increase in bookings over the two-hour period.
